Dinyar Vania has recently emerged as one of the country’s most exciting young tenors. With a voice which combines both power and beauty, he has earned critical acclaim portraying several of the most beloved roles in opera. His engagements for 2014-15 currently include singing the Duke in Rigoletto for Opera Omaha, a return to Pensacola Opera as Rodolfo in La bohème, his Opera Colorado debut as Lieutenant Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, and joining the roster of the Metropolitan Opera for its production of La bohème. In summer 2014 he made his Glimmerglass Opera debut as Pinkerton.

He has appeared in signature roles such as Rodolfo in La Boheme, Cavaradossi in Tosca, Don Jose in Carmen, Des Grieux in Manon Lescaut to great acclaim in  theaters around the country, including Minnesota Opera, Dallas Opera, New York City Opera, Lyric Opera of Baltimore, and Opera Colorado.
